Dungeons & Dragons Tactics (PSP)

Interesting but Rough...

Dungeons & Dragons Tactics is a PSP game developed by Kuju and published by Atari in 2007. I just recently came across it and never knew it existed. Interestly, it adheres strictly to D&D 3.5 rule set. It doesn't get the greatest reviews with Metacritic score of 58 and user score of 6.8. I love that its an actual Dungeons and Dragons game. It has decent graphics, music and combat. The biggest issues are UI sucks in town and inventory etc. I didn't think combat UI was that bad but camera could be tough seeing enemies. Overall, the game feels unpolished, unfinished and rough. There is enough here for me to keep playing but it's not for everyone. Finding a D&D themed PSP is amazing but I just wished they had spent a little more time refining the game. It had the potential to be a gem.
