I've been revisiting Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls. It is a compilation for the Game Boy Advance that includes remakes of the first two games in the Final Fantasy series, featuring updated graphics, four new dungeons, and enhanced gameplay mechanics (specifically the magic system). It was released in 2004 and allows players to experience the classic RPGs with improved combat controls and save features. In Japan it was released as Final Fantasy I - II Advance.
I'm out of town visiting family with a lot of down time. This has been a very enjoyable version to chill with, as it is an easier version than the original. This remake looks great and has been a relaxing tour down memory lane. Dawn of Souls is a great portable sidekick on a long trip.
