Powkiddy has come out with their take on Anbernic’s SP that is the slightly larger sized GBA clones. Powkiddy makes ok-ish handhelds but they tend to be worse and this is no exception. The V90S doesn’t have a headphone jack, no hinge close sleep mode, no hdmi out, bluetooth or wifi like Anbernic’s SP does. And the system has a much weaker chipset so it plays up to PS1 and maybe a couple low end Dreamcast games. The biggest hurdle for it is the asking price. As of this writing, they are selling it for $44.99 while the superior Anbernic model is on sale for $41.99 so there is no reason to pay more and get less. So unless they start selling this model for under $30 then I can’t see much of a reason to purchase this handheld. Once Anbernic prices jump back to normal then it may be a little more attractive. If anything I would purchase this as a gift if I couldn’t score a sale on Anbernic.
